A Secret Hideaway In the caravan of love

Which of these do you agree with.

Kissing on the lips

E-mailing pictures of themselves naked

Texting erotic messages

Sleeping in the same bed

Holding hands

Forming a deep emotional bond

Going out to dinner

In my opinion "cheating" is whatever your partner would be upset by.

All of the above IF it's secretive or being deliberately hidden from the other partner.

Yes, totally agree, makes me laugh when people use the excuse - 'it just happened' you can always walk away if you want to! Z

I think anything can be termed as cheating if its done in secret and with the intent on taking it further without your partners consent

Spot on, anything deceitful in that manor is cheating x

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I have been thinking about this a lot recently. I think the emotional relationships, without crossing the physical line but crossing the intimacy/friendship line, might actually be worse.

I have another question in mind but the wording is difficult.

Yeppers to everything on the list, if it's done covertly, it's gonna hurt someone if/when they find out

If you have to think about it, it's not acceptable behaviour x

Yup i think anything if its done secretly and deliberately hidden from your partner is cheating.

And yes an emotional attachment or relationship with someone else would be so much more painful than a purely physical transgression

All the above, and I agree with one poster who said over stepping the emotional boundaries can sometimes be more detriment to the other half than the cheating itself..

All of them if the intent to cheat is there and any kind of deceit or misleading is involved.

Totally agree, if partner doesn't know "before" it happens then its definitely cheating .if the partner knows and is OK about it then its great fun .

Its not the specifics on how far you go its the fact someone doesn't have consent and their partners knowledge that defines cheating as we see it.

There must be a reason for asking. Is there a suspicion. Won't ask any more as it is none of my business but good luck

I think the major factor in cheating is the getting caught element. Until that point the offender often don't equate it to cheating and nobody else is in the know.
