That brings you joy.
I don't mean what brings a smug, self satisfied smile. Nor schadenfreude. Nor what makes you laugh at others.
Just, something that sparks actual joy inside your heart. Or your genitals |

The way my daughter creates mayhem with a big smile on her face, and the sweetest smiles that could melt the coldest of hearts. I can’t be annoyed at the mischief. |

There's fair too many to list.
But children. Mine, other people's, when they smile, when they laugh, when they're happy and full of life.
They are the best least judgemental people to be around. I feel at home with them more than with anyone else. |

Looking at clouds and the sparkle in a woman when she know that you get her and will do anything to please you because you make her happy . |

My daughters laughing
When they hug me for no reason.
I don't want to use the C word... But fuck it.
Connection Connection Connection
Sexual feedback loops that send me into a spin - see above^^
That moment of realisation and release when someone lets go of something in the way of accepting themselves.

Seeing my brother thrive at uni, despite everything that has stopped him previously. I’m so proud of him and seeing his little daily updates truly fills my heart with joy. |

Getting a text message from one of my children. They’re a young adult, proudly independent and very neurodivergent, so hugs etc are not wanted.
When they message me it’s because they need me and then I know they know I’m always there for them.
I haven’t worded that as eloquently as I’d like but it’s the best message ever! |

"Getting a wax
I mean. I'm a masochist and I'd highly disagree with that sparking joy personally. But yeah, you do you
I totally love it! Yeah, I’m a weirdo. I’m
Ok with that x "
I suppose there is a weird satisfaction when it's done right.
I ended up with a newbie at my old usual place a couple of years back and it put me off for life though. |

Anything well designed that is both beautiful and functional. Arne Jacobsen chair I am sitting on to write this. Form and function is trumped by the female body.
Oh and milky tits ???? |

Warmth under a blanket.
An endless supply of still water to quench my thirst.
The sounds of children at play.
The palpable happiness felt from genuine laughter of others.
The smell of freshly cut grass in the summer.
The salty smell of the seaside.
The sun shining upon my skin.
Cuddles that feel electrifying because the person squeezes me with so much joy as they are truly happy to see me and cuddle me. |

*must resist urge to talk about things that spark joy in my quim*
Lots of things. Is that a tad daft? Possibly. I'll stick with some of today's.
I like joy.
I like that first sip of a PSL after a long week where I've been up since stupid o clock every day. And not stopped until the late evening.
I like the little feet kicking moments I get when I'm reading a book and I find myself sinking into the text and almost forget I'm reading.
I like those moments of connection with another person, whether it's platonic or sexual, a brief little moment or something that's building to a greater connection.
I really like when music enhances my mood. Matches it. Compliments it. Sometimes a song just hits right, doesn't it?

Yowsers, yeah, I hear ya.
I like the temperature change with different waxes and the instant pain and the relief. The endorphin rush is mad, also love having lotion applied everywhere after and then going home commando and the feeling and sensations after. Joyous! |

I like playing with hot wax without the waxing aspect and getting the people who know how to do it just right to trigger those endorphin rushes in similar ways though.
So I get it |

When my little girl rings me at work and asks me if I will bring her to the shop later, and not for the expected reason either, it’s just simply the way she asks me to bring her to the shop even though I have told her a million times it’s can you TAKE me, that just there is what it is all about for me |

"Wine
This ! Lol
I have had too many wines tonight. Another won't hurt though, right?
MrsAbz
Nope ! I have no wine in "
If you were nearer I'd offer you a glass or bottle depending on your mood.
No wine is a terrible thing

I'm simple. I like beer (good craft beer, not that fizzy piss-water rubbish) and a nice firm-but-jiggly pair of boobs... especially when enjoyed at the same time! |

My boy.
Being in "the flow" whilst programming.
Looking back at freshly mown lawn (notta euphemism).
Hosting friends and family and getting complimented on my cooking.
Traveling to scenes of natural beauty, like Lake Como, Raja Ampat, The Cotswolds, The Penines. |

Daft little thing but when my kids still call me dad, I know they always will refer to me as that but it seems less often that they actually use it. Just the other day we came back from the Chinese and as we got out the van she sweetly asked “dad can I play the Xbox” and it just took me back to them being young |

My kids, even when they've done something annoying.
A returned smile from someone who is happy to see me.
A genuine, proper, whole hearted and comforting hug.
Amongst other things |

Lots recently - sunset, rainbows, birds, animals, plants and flowers, random videos of pets and kids, nice coffee, perfect weather during my hikes, a smile or nod from strangers, ....loads of simple things.

At the moment, gonks. As I carried a large red stripy-legged gentleman towards the Home Bargains checkout, I was beaming with joy. Horace was carefully transported home (seatbelt on) and my progeny gathered around to celebrate the new addition to the gonk tribe. |

When I'm walking on a beach, listening to the sound of the waves.
Absolute joy and happiness.
When I look out of the window when I open the curtains and see a beautiful sunrise. This also makes me smile.
It really is about appreciating the small and simple things in life. |
