Do you find people awaken/increase your libido or is it generally the same level?

Interesting. Ordinarily I would have said libido is independent of anyone in particular who turns you on but... there have certainly been one or two people (well, one really..!) I have met that supercharged my libido over an extended period of time. But perhaps that was just lust, who knows?! |

It’s a bit tricky one for me and it currently feels like a vicious cycle.
I have normally very high libido and need an additional contraception, on the top of condoms obviously, otherwise I’m paranoid about it.
Then I start a cycle of progesterone only pills which kill my libido instantly and turn me into psychotic b****, so I have no choice but stop taking them and my libido is back with a vengeful.
Can’t win, so I end up not having sex at all. |

Throughout life I have always had a very high libido. Higher than others I’ve been with. To the point where people have told me I’m insanely animalistic with my never ending libido.
There have been people that have increased my already high libido more.
I can be distracted by people —male or female — to where I end up in a brain fog like status daydreaming about all the ways I want to devour and be devoured by them. It can be extremely distracting and affect my productivity in parts of life. Wanking doesn’t relieve this distraction.
One of the few times I’m not extremely sexually charged is when I’m poorly. It’s evident to those that know me. Some have worried because it’s such a massive difference that they assumed I’m extremely poorly as sex is the last thing on my mind whereas normally sex is a part of nearly every thought I have day in and out.

Mine fluctuates it depends what life stresses are there and so on.

Usually little more than an occasional maintenance wank.
With the right inspiration, I'll stay in the cave having sex until starvation kicks in. Fuck fuel is a good forward planning

I would say for me it's in fits and starts. In general it can ebb and flow, this summer it was constant, but then it stopped, both due to things going on in my body.
In relation to other people, just knowing what is coming and how much I enjoy my time when we are together increases my libido. However, say if I met them off the cuff be it catching them as they drive by and stop for a chat, we go for coffee or a shop or the odd walk even, it does nothing. Mostly. Then again a squeeze to the back of the neck or the right words said and I'm a puddle (shrug). |

When I was younger (teens, 20s) I jerked off twice a day on average - once in the morning to help get myself out of bed, and once at night to help me get to sleep. But that wasn't as cold as it sounds - I would be naturally aroused in the morning, my half-sleep full of erotic thoughts. And at night I'd normally find some scene from a film to help my imagination.
These days I still often feel the morning arousal but don't necessarily do anything about it sometimes because I want to get out of bed quickly (the earlier I start work, the earlier I finish it) but also because the urge isn't quite so strong. I'd not really considered the effect lockdown could have on sexuality but that makes a lot of sense now I've read it.
I think getting older does change your libido on the whole. Not sure if that's because of external factors/pressure or because a point is reached where you're more comfortable to explore and enjoy it. My libido is... increasingly. Sadly. Not so sadly to be honest! :D |
