I mean it's fact isn't it surely that men are less picky than women?
Why in the grand scheme of the world do you think this is? I'm talking sexually here not loveeee.
Away from forums, many ladies profiles are like looking for brunette men with short back and sides and a beard with green eyes and a six pack with a tattoo above the nipple.
Has anyone seen a man be picky like this? Or boys, do we just like...hot women?

It's not about having a type, it's about being so attached to the idea of something so specific! And I wonder if it's just their super ideal or if they really don't find anyone attractive outside of it you know?! That's the point of this one! |

I think the need is often more "primal" for some men, majority of the time. So they care less about the person and more about fulfilling the act.

You're making a fairly big assumption that every woman here has very specific preferences and that men don't. I think some women and men will have them (which you describe as "picky") and some won't. There are much fewer women on the site - it perhaps seems more imbalanced than it is. If a man's profile specifies no redheads or prefers small boobs - no problems, I'm not for him.
Many people see this as a site where they can live out a fantasy - I see nothing wrong with being specific about that unless it's racist or phobic in some way. |

Boils down to supply and demand really… Men = in high supply, low demand. Women = low supply, high demand
As a man, if/when you’ve been pursuing something (the act of sex in this instance) for a long time to no avail, then desperation can kick in and you’ll take any attention rather than specific attention. Women on the other hand don’t really have to do the pursuit because they’re usually flooded with attention/offers. Not always offers they want to take up or attention from those who give it to them as these individuals do not meet their needs and wants. |

There are a few picky men & that's a good thing.
There was a who'd fuck my wife post recently with Tom's of comments saying me please, can I meet her, she looks amazing and all the graphic stuff they wanted to do to her.... I think it’s very much subjective to the individual. I think both men and women can vary in their pickiness but also sometimes the pickiest of people can let slip their standards when feeling horny AF and are desperate for a shag.
Me and my partner are personally quite picky as we must have someone who can have strong banter and chemistry for the meet to work, as opposed to just physical factors. |

Mr is possibly fussier than I! He's very intuitive with people and I tend to get a little caught up in the moment by comparison.

I'm definitely very specific about the eye colour, blue is always the thing for me (it's almost an obsession). And that's on and off Fab. And I will always prefer clean shaven faces. It's very much about a certain attributes, I've tried meeting people who don't tick certain boxes and the attraction just isn't there. I want to meet someone who's different from all the men I see walking by every day and in the pub at the end of the road.
