Hussy.
Also yay to being Aberdeen! Have you explored Old Aberdeen? Have you had a buttery? Have you been to Slain's castle? If it's still there it's very much your sort of pub, it's on Belmont Street.
Why am I so excited about this for you? I don't know. I am.
I have one day left and then it's the perfect start to a long weekend and I'm going to be doing my best to be nonchalant and cool. |

Just poking my head in for a few mins as got to get to bed as up @ 5:30am for work. I was supposed to be off but hey ho, as it's my birthday tomorrow I'm surprised I have even made it to the ripe old age of 69. Hope you have all had pleasant day and tomorrow is even better |

Do you mean the Footdee? I dragged B along the beach in the gales and rain to explore. It was wonderful. A buttery is on tomorrow's list. Today was full of porridge with cream and skink for dinner! |

"What drinks can we get in your pub Julie?"
They have a huge range of locally brewed beers. I recommend the Cassis one (or RiBEERna as we called it). I imagine there are lots of whiskys too but I don't drink that |

Oh Footdee is lovely! I worked at a restaurant there for a couple of terms, Silver Darling? Old Aberdeen is the university area. Beautiful. Cobbled stones, interesting architecture. Get a buttery! You won't regret it.
My long weekend? Oh I'm not doing anything interesting at all. |

We walked past that restaurant. We didn't have enough time to walk up to the University area. We really wanted to but it was a bit far from Union Square by the time we'd had a very late lunch.
I hope your weekend is a delight |

I’m bordering on the spectacularly average thank you J.

I’d say it’s a tad worse, but definitely better than extraordinarily ordinary. |

To be honest it was so busy it was after 4pm before I noticed anything so not so bad and I made up for the extra free calories by eating more crisps |
