I tend to respond for others status updates either being sympathic or with full on sarcasm, apart from meeting related.

Who else does this?

The updates around here tend to be so banal that I never do. Ever.

I don’t see the point in all honesty. Just seems like a waste of time and energy. That I can put to better use.

I’ll respond to meet request ones if I feel I meet the posters requirements.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

Depends if the status resonates with me and also my mood.

Never do the Status thing myself though, don't even think about it

I often don't. Status updates tend to contradict what they've put in their profile so I just move on.
