I have five, but I happily chat with more than that number, it's just not seemed appropriate to ask to be on their friends list (they may think I just want to perv their pictures). |

I like this inner circle of 2-3 for life, in all the big decisions, then 12 a bit closer that I listen to or go to on certain things, then maybe 50 that come and go, just for fun, that I wouldn’t take advice from. |

Yeah I get that & I definitely prefer to keep a few friends I chat to regularly,rather than have loads that never speak . |

OP I only add someone as a friend if they genuinely are a friend - someone I’d want to say hi to and hear how they are. Probably around 10 yes x |

Depends what you use your friends list for.
Not too choosy if it’s only people you want to/ are playing with.
But my friends list is for my *actual* friends that I club with. Lots I haven’t played with or any intention too but all actual real life friends 
There’s only 3 people on my hotlist ha |

Not sure if thats too many....or not enough lol.
We regularly go through the list and drop a mail to ask if they still want to be on the list.
Well, apart from those who we consider to be "lifelong" friends, those we don't need to ask. |

We don’t have many on our friends list. Don’t know why we have the ones we have now. Never get a message from them and if we send a message takes them ages to reply and it if they forgot who we are. |

Only 6 guys on my freinds list who I've already met once or twice an chat to often, I don't see the point in adding people willy nilly just so they can wank over my freinds only folder lol |

5 for me, I've got to get to know people and most likely have met them for them before they can go on as friends.
Also I haven't been to many clubs or outings and met people on here face to face so that doesn't help. |
