I was going to swith our three numbers to Lebara as they are well cheap but that plan was foiled when we realised they don't have WiFi calling enabled. We need that at home as the signal from all the providers is wank where we live |

Lebara is cheap as chips but I've had problems with them so looking to swap again. |

I have a Smarty unlimited Sim, Uses the Three network £18pm for six then £20pm for life, guaranteed no increases.
I actually have four all linked, two unlimited & two 200gb limit ones. Each sim linked gets 10% off the cost. The 200GB ones cost £10.40 with the discount.
Currently only Three & EE networks offer truly unlimited data with no fair use policy. Hence our remote home has an external antenna linked to a SIM card router & literally everything goes through it, TVs, laptops, everything.700-900GB pm, no problems.

I switched to Lebara for 3/5 of our phones and I regret it. GG is far better. |

All the cheap network use a larger network infrastructure. Thats why they are cheap. I think ID and smarty use 3. Tesco and giff gaff (potentially more) use o2
Alot of the cheaper are online only so less access to customer service but the signal you are getting is the same had you gone with the larger provider
Side note i have an o2 iphone, so its nonesense that their network is not strong enough for an iphone you must just live in a low signal area |

Thanks all, I do live in a poor signal area the O2 is between 1 and 2 bars on my current basic nokia when my daughter first had an i phone on O2 it would not work, the lyca signal is 1 bar soon as I try to dial out it disappears my son put his ee sim in and it has 5 bars so goodness only knows how they switch the power down on lycra, I suppose if you pay one third the price you can probably only expect one third service. |

Moneysavingexpert is a good source for comparisons of utilities, including mobile networks.
If the virtual network operator - MVNO - has fully matching signal access, then it's probably only features like free inclusive EU roaming, that set them apart. Some of the bigger and smaller networks have stopped it and those features may mean nothing to many.
I'd always try out a different network without commitment via PAYG, before a more permanent move.
I'm about to try out the MVNO 1p mobile, which uses EE. |

They do have wi fi calling enabled. I’m with lebara having recently left 3.
My sim only has gone from £13.50 a month with 3 to £4.50 a month. I also now get international roaming included in the price where you pay extra on the 3 network |
