I used to turn my nose up whenever the comedy Friends was mentioned. Decided to 'flix it and now addicted! Currently on episode 10. Consistantly funny which some great characters. Coupling was the brit version which I got into first and that's also decent. Anyone else got into a series in recent times that is a number of years old? Friends finished in 2004. |

The wife and I have really been enjoying Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
It's packed full of past, (then) present and future stars, not to mention that the writing is always quality. Even Roald Dahl wrote a couple of 'em.
Hitchcock's bookending material for each episode is funny stuff, with some of it not entirely politically correct. |

Rewatched I.T Crowd recently and still found myself laughing out loud.
Also watching Derry Girls now, another TV series just like Father Ted if there’s nothing else on, then I’ll go to that series. |

"I was late to watching Still Game, watched and rewatched several times over now. It's brilliant, like Last of the Summer Wine with swearing. "
Glad you discovered it. I recommend Still Game to anyone that will listen to me. |

"Not recently, but I was very late to the party for the TV show 24. I did a massive binge of all the seasons over a number of months."
1st 2 series of 24 are absolutely brilliant… actually went back and watched the west wing and it was fantastic
Also… series 1 of homeland… wow

People keep telling me about West Wing. Maybe some day I'll give it a go. |

I've started watching 'Hustle' and 'The Good Wife.'
Theyre very entertaining and i have to force myself to get up off the sofa as they're easily bingeable programmes. |

Got a boxed set of The Professionals from a charity shop the other day. To be sure, it's a period peace, but it's still wonderful escapism.
Yes Minister / Prime Minister, in the other hand, was first made in 1980, and still seems like watching the news. Just scary.
The Good Life? Now theres a discussion for anyone who finds women desirable. Felicity Kendal in a boiler suit or Penelope Keith in a kaftan- you can only choose one lol
