Like sub drop... I've just been away for a long weekend and genuinely had the most amazing time. Now I'm home, sat on the sofa, and feeling pretty shitty. Anyone else ever get this?

Yeah I used to get it with everything, projects, holidays, I even trained for and ran a marathon once and was so depressed after. You gotta learn to come down the same way you go up

It's definitely a real thing, after a good hol or weekend away.

You have your memories though op, book somewhere else so you have it to look forward to.

Yes. We were away for a week recently in a warm climate, with no responsibilities but to enjoy ourselves. Coming home to cooking your own food and cleaning your own house is a hell of a downer.

The antidote to this is to have another holiday booked

We were in Corfu a couple of weeks ago, coming back to rubbish weather and stressful work makes us miss cocktails by the pool even more!

All over

It is the same for most people. Lets face it going on holiday can sometimes have its stresses. All the getting ready, travelling etc. You get there and have a nice time but then there is all the travelling back again but nothing to keep you excited. All you can do is start thinking of your next one as already said. Sometimes short and more frequent breaks work better for some people and inceasingly so for me too
