I mean, do you say you're welcome. It's the least I could do? Do you continue the conversation? Do you offer more tea to the vicar? Do you post on a swingers forum asking for advice?

Dear D. Ick, the correct response is clearly to seek advice from a Swingers’ forum. I don’t know where you would find one of those though, unfortunately. I’ve led a very sheltered life. Personally I’d say it’s a proposal of marriage. Accept if they have a higher income than you. Or own a combine harvester. I hope this advice is helpful.
