My dad still lives in it. I have to say there's nothing in it if want asy mum gave me anything of sentimental value before she died. If I had to choose something it would be the vacuum cleaner we bought dad recently because it's better than ours |

It would be my Nan and gramps home. I loved their entrance hall. You opened up their front door and their stairs were directly in front of you, then the passageway through to the back of house etc. but on the stair bannister at the bottom they had stuck a lamp on it. It looked a bit like an old lantern type light. I loved it. I’ve never seen anyone else have a lamp there and it just made their entrance hall look magical.
They mostly had it on when they had dinner parties or at Christmas, so it felt very special.

My mam still lives there but it’s never felt the same without my dad there. I’d take his brass dogs if I could the best of the two is a lurcher sitting down it’s about 3 foot tall he loved polishing them up my mother never polishes them and they are dull I would love to have them and polish them up and stand them in the sitting room where csn always see them |

My nan’s house. Her garden was like a magical fairyland (although that may have been the stories that she wove into it)
And I’d bring her back. In a heartbeat. She was my “mom”, I still aspire to be half the woman that she was. |

My bed all painted a beautiful blue and depicting lots of handpainted different animals but even then my favourite ones were the dogs and some very colourful butterflies. The little dog on the left corner at the bottom of the bed was my favourite but I can't remember for sure what breed it was |

"Mine would be my Grandparents house. We didn't live anywhere else long enough to form a bond. "
Oh, and I took the things out that I wanted. My Grandad's rocking chair is now at our house and his piano is at my Dad's. His other musical instruments are at our house too. |

I was unceremoniously turfed out of it aged 15 but...
I would love to have kept the dresses and Indian jewellery my mum put aside for me which my dad kept in the loft for me after she died
As a child I'd often sneak up there and try the clothes on.
If not that the garden with all the roses, fruit trees and grape vines. |

My innocence before everything went tits up.

I go back whenever I can, my mum still lives there. There's a couple of bits that I'd like one day but one of my favourite things I already have, an ornament from my childhood that'll I'll always treasure. |

The garden. It was half vegetablr plotts, fruit trees and berry bushes. I loved it when I was hungry in the summer just being able to pick a few strawberries or pea pods. The other half was grass where we'd play dens with the neighbours kids or go on the slide or just play. I loved it.
