Worst accident?

Ok, so maybe not the worst accident ever.

But my daughter was doing crafts and just squeezed a tube of black paint. A blob of paint flew across the room and landed slap bang in the middle of my (original, expensive) oil painting (by a famous artists from my home country). Lots of sentimental value too.

As kids do she didn’t call me but tried to clean it up herself I’ve got rid of the worst and managed not to freak out (need a mummy of the year award!)

But made me wonder what’s the worst accident that’s happened to you?

I feel for you ??

Sorry, have nothing similar. I guess, I've dropped a hard drive that contained the only backup of family photos I had. That was kinda sickening and heart breaking.

You might still be able to get it cleaned.

My worst accident? Probably when the horse I was riding tripped in canter somersaulted and landed on top of me. Had all sorts of issues since - 1993

Aqua planing into a barrier. Very quiet followed by a loud noise. Not my favourite experience.

Urgh sounds horrible! I had a fall at gymnastics as a teenager and still have back problems so feel your pain!

Exact opposite for me.

Loud noise followed by silence

Got electrocuted by a faulty desk lamp

The children found they could make patterns by running a magnet over the TV screen.

It unfortunately was permanent.

Highly accident prone but the one I tried hardest to make light of was when my oldest accidently managed to break my elbow when we were play fighting.

He was distraught and I was busy trying to comfort him, not cry and call for help (best friend took me to hospital, mum came and watched the kids and Mr met me there from work). I was so amazed by the coordination of my friends and family in organsing help!
