Reports that hate crime in London has risen after the troubles in the Middle East up 8 times in the same period last year. Let people live their lives in peace. London is dangerous enough without these added risks |

Hate crime against gay people is down 6%, against trans people up 11% (highest level ever). But attacks are getting more serious.
Someone will always find someone to be a target. |

Not shocking. People conflate Israel with Jews and the Jewish diaspora and there are lots of Islamophobes in London that will find any excuse to target Muslims.
Hate crime in general? Unsurprising also. But I commented about an experience with racism a few months ago and someone said it was ’convenient’ that I always had a story to tell about racism.
Imagine how tired we are of it. |

We are so grateful we live in a very low crime area.
There will always be violence in big cities, when you get that many people living in one area, it'll never stop.
Another reason not to go to London very often. |

Anyone surprised that both hate crimes and demos for both sides weren't going to happen... In a city with large populations of both sides isn't reading the room very well. It was going to happen and keep happening. Preventing one side from demonstration is not going to make it any better. |
