Me. Well, no. In one he did the majority of cooking when we didn't eat out. Generally, I can count on one hand the amount of times someone's cooked for me in a relationship. I love cooking, it's a love language for me. |

We both did, but I thoroughly enjoyed when the ex did the cooking as he was a good cook (ex husband of 22 yrs didnt do any cooking) |

I can't say I can cook; I can make meals, but things need to come from a tin, jar or packet.
When I lived on my own I felt I was perfectly fine and made decent meals for myself. Now I live with my partner, she does the dinner but complains about doing it, but when I go to make something, everything I suggest has a negative response and often what I do make is criticised in some way. So I can't really win there. |

Previous relationship, took it in turns with the majority down to her as I got back late.
I actually enjoy cooking, I'm rather good at it too. So the weekends were BBQs setup by me after marinating the meats. Or a chicken/lamb/beef curry or stew n rice. |

I always did the cooking in my marriage as she, the ex wife, did the cleaning. I am a crap cleaner but not a bad cook! so that was the deal.
The last long term relationship was a woman from another swing web site. She would come to me every weekend and I always cooked then too!
Weird thing is, now I am single and do not have the company at home. I very rarely cook a proper meal! all frozen microwave meals for a saddo like me, |

My (bilf) ex never cooked, she also never helped with the food shopping, one time after a 13 hour work day she still expected me to cook, and half way through me doing so ordered a takeaway. Now we split it fairly even. Some nights I cook if Kez is busy, others she cooks. |

Me. But that may be one of my deal breakers for a new relationship. He has to cook (but be good at it)

I always knew which end of the knife to hold and which chopping board was for red meat, poultry, fish, vegetables etc.
And I know how to pre-heat an oven.
Oh, and stop looking at my wok! Only "I" know how to use that properly!! |

When I was with my ex wife she used to moan that she did all the cooking but every time I went into the kitchen she would watch over me like a hawk and if I didn’t do it how she did then it was wrong so she would get the hump and tell me she would cook.
Since then I’ve done all the cooking from Sunday roasts to Christmas dinner for 9 and everything in between, oddly enough not had any complaints at all so something tells me perhaps she might have just be a little controlling.
I enjoy cooking so no complaints about doing it now |
