Out today and as most days - at roundabouts I've noted that well over 70% of drivers don't bother indicating on a first left turn. This slows down traffic, especially on a 4 approach roundabout.
I won't post what I think of them as 70%+ is a high percetage and I'm sure many here

Idiots.
Should be hung up, same as middle lane drivers, people who do 30 in a 60, old people who look like they’ve climbed out the grave for one last spin round the block, cyclists who forget what a red light means, people who throw rubbish out the car window, people who smoke with their kids in the car, people who don’t strap their kids in, people who get so engrossed in candy crush they don’t notice the lights have gone green and fiat multipla owners. |

The drivers that get me are the ones who don’t use the proper lanes - those people who think it is reasonable to stay in the left hand lane _all_ the way round a roundabout are an absolute danger to everyone else. |

They don't put indicators on cars anymore to keep costs down and because Star Wars has been around for nearly fifty years we can all use the Force to predict what someone is going to do.Particularly useful for cyclists who would get fined, points banned or even jailed if they drove a car like the ride a bike. |

Please don't hold back = seriously, why are there so many lazy drivers, dont they realise they slow traffic down. I bet you they rarely indicate possibly because they think they know where they are going, lol. TBH, I think they are just awful drivers that lack knowldge/driving skills and often blame people they cut up etc |

The UK could have 100% employment, if it was to engineer fairly good driving standards by all. It could probably have thousands of immigrants employed too, solely for this goal. And this would only to be to achieve good driving standards, not amazingly good.
Will standards continue to decline, until fully assisted driving cars become commonplace? How long for this? 20, 30 years? More? |

And then have the audacity to flip me the v’s or the universal hand gesture for wanker, when I don’t.

I would agree, and I would expand this to include people who are on the carriageway with no vehicles outside of them, not moving out a lane to allow slip road traffic to join. |

It's not always safe to move across even if the vheicle i the other lane is not close by as some drivers drive a lot above the speed limit and imagine a clown joining the carriagway from a slip road, no indication and not a car in workld tires to bully you into the path of another speeding car/van etc. Entering from a slip road you have to give way and too many people think they are entitled
The best one i saw was a car joining a dual carriageway without a care in the world. The juggernuaght could not move over as there was a car besides it. The clown joining must have though he'd push/bully the lorry over but the lorry driver could not move and the clown continued and got his car trashed. I pulled over as did several others and the slip lan guy was ranting and raving - myself annd two other drivers gave our details to the lorry driver as witnesses. Heard nothing.
Another time a woman almost pulled out from a side road into the front of my car in a hospital carpark where i was driving the car at the designated 10mph - I lighly papped my horn to let her known as i braked and stopped. She got out of the car and started ranting and falsely claimed I was coming to fast (never had a speeding ticket in my life as, especially smaller roads I stick to or below the limit.
I told the ranting woman I was going to report her to the poloice for "careless driving" and I'd send my "dashcam footage to police." lol she got back in her car pretty quick. lol, I did not have a dash cam at the time

They don’t have to. The onus is on the joiner to position themselves safely. Not the driver on the carriageway. Irrespective of there being space to ‘move over’. |

As a lazy driver myself I thought you were going to give me a bit of advice to drive more bone Isle than I already do. That’s not lazy driving that’s selfish driving. I hate the way British drivers seem to make a game of delaying one another. We’d all save about 20% fuel a year if people could maintain momentum and not be selfish.

The latest bad driving "trend" is drivers who get themselves in the overtaking lane on a dual carriageway and then stay there even though there's nothing in the left hand lane! These are the people who never look in their rear view mirror as they never appear to notice the queue of cars stuck behind them ! |

Just because ‘they don’t have too’ doesn’t mean it’s not good practice and ignorant not to.
Where I live there are small lanes that join dual carriageways, some days you can sit there for 10 to 15 minutes waiting to pull out, just because people aren’t using the empty outside lane.
When I am on a motorway and approaching an on slip, if the middle lane is clear I will always move into it so the inside lane is empty to facilitate vehicles coming onto the motorway, it’s called not being an ignorant dick. |

as winter is almost here and fog around the corner the number of dangerous drivers that dont switch their fog lights in in gof where visibility is reduced and worse still some dont even turn on their lights. A police friend of mine stopped a few people for no lights during heavy fog and this is what most said - sorry officer, as I could see I thought lights were not needed.

When I first moved to Wales I used to wonder did they have a different driving test down here where using indicators was banned.
Unfortunately the rest of the UK now largely seems to have adopted the Welsh method. |

These drivers are plain lazy and I bet you most of these types have a general disregard for the Highway rules and regulations.
It would be funny if all drivers had to go through a short test every few years on things like this. IMO, this would make some of them at least start using the indicators
The other day, driving behind this realtivel old car which I later noted was driven by a young female who had another young female in the front seat. At the roundabout, they shoarouns it were taking a third left, no right indicate, then no right indicator as they turned off, about 50 yards down the rouad not left indicator anf then turning indo a carpark, no left indiactor again. I flashed them and they pulled up and driver came out of the car "why you flashing your lights at me" in a rude/arrogantat tone. I told her, "I'm trying to help you make you aware your indicators are not working and you dont want to cause an accident or be stopped by the police. She huffed off and funny thing was she slammed her car door and drove off at high speed like some do in a carpark.

Fiat Multipla owners
I just love how your list reads and with that hilarious finish.
I do agree with pretty much all of it and a lot more besides. The standard of driving on our roads amoung the majority certainly does appear to be lacking.
I'm not quite sure if this is attributable to the fact there there are fewer Police out and about on the roads than when I first started driving just under 35 years ago |

Fog lights are a pain in the back side! If you are driving in conditions where you can clearly see the normal rear lights of the vehicle in front why the hell do people think they need their fog lights on for? And why are they so keen to turn the bloody things on but then forget to turn them off for the next two weeks. If you are driving at more than 40mph then the visibility is definitely not bad enough for you to be using foglights. If visibility is that bad and you are driving over 40mph well you are a fucking idiot! |

One of the first "rules" of driving is "mirror, signal, manoeuvre". There's so many drivers these days who adopt the "manoeuvre, mirror, oh shit there's another car half way past me, brake, indicate back in" manoeuvre!! How the hell did they get a license? |
