Any ideas for a board game for a weekend get together.
Real mix so need something that will keep teenagers, avid board game fans and some people who don't give a shit about board games happy. Any help appreciated |

We took Space Base on holiday with us and everyone enjoyed it, kids and adults.
I would also recommend Gloom (it's a card game), Timeline (another card game - there's lots of versions, but you can buy a couple and put them together), and Codenames (played in teams - it helps if you know how the other person thinks).
Hope you find something that suits |

Of course, my idea of a good board game is the original Civilisation, or Republic of Rome - but you need a full day and a good cushion for both.
The various flavours of Risk can be fun - my favourite is Godstorm Risk, if you can find it. |

Ticket to Ride is very good, and easy for 'non-gamey' people to pick up.
Carcasonne is a classic, again, easy to learn.
Hey, that's my Fish is fun, and Kluster is a quick and easy but very fun game.
Also, Hekmeck is, another quick and fun game
