It's the week after up here, so another week of school yet. I like to take mine to Butlins or something like that for a long weekend in this half term, but this year they are going away with their mum instead, so nothing changing for me |

I never get a hotel breakfast but then I'm usually at a premier Inn in Manchester. There are so many better options. Enjoy x |

Our half term is week after next & my Scottish great aunt is coming down to visit - can’t wait!!!

It is at my sons school too. They took the decision years ago to group all the teacher training days together to make it a two week holiday and cause less disruption for parents throughout the year.

some schools close for two weeks again.
Our family pays for private education on top of our state schools attendance. Thes eextra hols wipes all of that out
Why are some schools taking two weeks - a firned their kids had two weeks a while ago when most were off for a week and now they have got another 2 weeks off - this heavily impacts their work and earnings and they are already hard ppushed for money |
