Not sure if its anything to do with the events in the Middle East but petrol prices has gone up 5p a litre in the last few days at all the petrol stations near to me.

Spoke to the cashier and he thinks they will go up again soon.

Are they trying to force ppl to go electric?

It certainly feels that way. One of each or a hybrid seems to be the sensible option at the moment.

Who are “they”? Oil prices are controlled by OPEC, aren’t they? Why, in the short term at least, would those countries be interested in forcing anyone to go electric?
