Making friends here, becoming trusted by other members?

Hey everyone, hope you've had a great day.
I've a question, adding friends on here, making contacts... What is the best way?
I know I am not verified by meeting anybody yet. With my career it's difficult to get away, I've been to xtasia once but wasn't on fab at the time. I'm looking at attending swingers clubs 4-5 times a year. Meeting people on here does interest me.
Im kinda new and shy to the swinger / fetish scene. I'm not a person who is likely to make the 1st move regarding contact. I know females get a lot of messages so I dont want to be that guy.
So making friends here would be great, meets at some point also. However I do seem to get more men looking at my profile and some messaging me, I'm sure my profile says I'm not looking for men. Is this normal? |

Men will need to look to know you're straight.
It's possible to enable a feature 'don't show on looked at me' that means you can look at profiles without the profile holder knowing. Many women use this so you probably won't be aware just how many are actually looking.
You might find it difficult to make friends if you're reluctant to make the first move but you might find that chatting generally in the forum will help.
Good luck |

Thank you for the advice and reply. I guess as a newcomer I just don't want to break any etiquette or unlisted rules that people have.
I wasn't aware of that feature so also thank you for that. I guess as there is no face picture publicly available it ours people off but that comes back to my career and public privacy. Outside of the public I'm happy to share. |

If I were starting out again I would go to socials and meet and greets straight away. Clubs and parties are wonderful but the social side is what opens the way for making contacts and becoming part of the community |

I think if you remain respectful you'll be unlikely to break etiquette. If anyone has unlisted rules then getting cross if people break them is down to them really . |

Ah of course, I will have to make some time to attend some meets. Im guessing getting verified by people it's very important at this point. |

Absolutely this. I did a post ages ago about group socials that might be useful for you https://m.fabswingers.com/forum/lounge/1462343
But go to https://m.fabswingers.com/forum/meets to see up coming ones in different places. Going to a social can get you quite a few verifications too and they often have group chats that allow you to get to know people before you go. |
