Apparently at asda, christmas shoppers go wild for their stocking fillers scanning for just £1 and and the cadbury dairy milk small chocolate, people are stocking up while they can, who else think that it is too early with christmas things? |

Course not. There’s only 2 or 3 paydays before Xmas for most people. |

Not too early, especially with cost of living stuff atm.
Most places have done Christmas stuff/food etc earlier so that people can spread the cost over another payday if needed |

I believe some folk buy for next Christmas 2024 at same time. Ive seen peoole buy loads of tins of sweets in one shop. I remember when they were deep tin tins not plastic haf filled of cremes. Only cream I like is thick double pie version |

I don’t think it’s too early especially if you have kids to buy for, that gets really expensive! It’s better to be prepared early rather than rushing around stressing nearer the time. I’ve already started. |

The shops aren't daft. They know that people will buy now at offer prices and will have scoffed all the Christmas confectionery well before then.
When the time comes, they will have to pay the 'distress purchase' price nearer to the event in order to replenish the stuff which they have already guzzled. |

Similarly, Asda are offering a well known cream liqueur at an unbelievably reduced price for a 1 litre bottle..
Almost certainly the purchasers will swig it almost immediately and will be faced with a much higher price tag nearer the big day. |

Is it too early? There are probably only 2-3 pay days left for lots of people before Christmas. If you need to spread the cost it makes sense to do bits now. |
