Apart from a diabetic I guess, or a professional chocolate cake taster, does anyone look back on their life and think I wish I’d eaten less chocolate cake? |

If this is the first thing that Obie has eaten since he got up then it IS his breakfast.
It will break his fast ... breakfast.
No Obie it's not good cos it will send your glucose / blood sugars sky high and leave you feeling like shit for the rest of the day ......... so ......

Yes. But victoria sponge is better.
If you want it to be more socially acceptable get a chocolate muffin. That is basically breakfast cake. |
