A 7ft long dead Blue Fin Tuna which is a large fish more often found in supermarket tins has been washed up on the beach in a place called Dorset which lies next to it's more famous county which is Devon. Scientists are saying that many more have been in the water and actually alive. How long before the terrifying Great White Shark arrives at these shores and all the problems it will bring with it. What is going on here guys,? It's all over the news

Great white sightings have been happening for years of our coasts by fisherman.

I'm in and on the water all year round and welcome it all.

Respect the sea that's all

Tuna have been sighted of the Devon coast for a couple of years now. I'm amazed how big they are. Apparently you can't catch them commercially in UK waters

My nan’s spare room.

Many years ago large Tuna were regularly caught in the North Sea by sport fishermen out of ports such as Scarborough.

In fact they were probably fished out of existence in the North Sea.

Whaley Bridge,Nr Buxton,

Great Whites have been off our shores for decades.US Marine Biologists regularly track tagged GWS to the waters between south east Ireland and Cornwall/Devon.The real story is when "exotics" such as Sunfish turn up.

UK gets some interesting sharks now and then pop up, years ago when I was diving off one of our hardboats we came across a very angry looking mako shark while we was wreck diving ... thankfully it buzzed off ..

Now big tuna, gosh I could make alot of tuna pasta / salad with one of those beauties

Tuna and mackerel are the same family. Perhaps the tuna are just visiting relatives.

For information the largest rod caught fish in UK waters (in 1933!!!) was a blue fin Tuna caught off Whitby in the North Sea!!!!) I believe it weight 880lbs!!! so one in warmer waters (washed by the gulf stream) can easily be expected!!!!

Blue fin tuna does not end up in cans… it’s way too expensive… it ends up in posh restaurants and in Japan

You can blame me watching way too much wicked tuna for that!!!

Near Clacton

Sharks have been around that part of the coast for decades if not centuries, in fact a record size shark was caught around there many many decades ago by a woman angler, not sure if that record has been broken yet.
