Men messaging me to say, for example.
'suck me off' or, 'do you fancy giving me a blow job'
And when you read their profile. Their profile states that they are 'straight' on their profile.
Obviously 'NOT' straight in reality. |

You can block single males.
The ones messaged you already still can message you. So need to block them individually.
Many straight men are desperate or bi curious.
Some have an attitude like: '' Hole is a hole, mouth is a mouth in the end of the day.'' |

What they all said ^^
Also gay men will be attracted to gay friendly photos, eg willy or arse pics. It’s kind of like a (not even subtle) subliminal message.
I (genuinely) haven’t checked out your profile but if you’re getting lots of attention from men I’m speculating that you have such pics, as I’ve seen similar threads on here and that’s usually the case |

I just leave them on unread. It does actually seem the most effective strategy to be honest.
They sort of have a conversation with themselves and it just stops.
Honestly, if I was a woman and I was getting a lot of messages. I'd probably use it as an initial filter. |

Just out of interest only, why would you do that rather than block or indeed use the filters? That seems more effective to be honest in any context not just what the OP talkex about. |

If only there was a solution to this..... |

Why aren't you blocking single men in your filters?
Think you're just being a drama queen to be honest. |

I haven't had the volume of messages to really sit down and think about that. I leave filters open, because it doesn't really bother me and I am happy for anyone to message me. Sometimes men do for other reasons than offering to suck my cock. Had a few interesting discussions. I don't like the idea of arbitrarily blocking anyone from messaging me.
I'll reflect on it though. Thanks for provoking the thought. |

"Then set your filters to block men from messaging you
As above I get loads of looks from men and TVs but they are blocked "
He was talking about messages. Why would a look bother anyone that much. Do we stop individuals looking at us in the street for any reason |

It's the old "saying straight while being bi" thing that's pissing him of guys.
OP, 'bisexual' means hetero and homo sexual, and people can choose how they go about that (if they even can choose much in some cases). Which I'm afraid includes calling themselves straight.
As long as the term 'bi' exists (as much as bi is used officially I don't think it's for the ages) people are just going to have to accept that not everyone is going to use it all the time. Why should they?

I think if it is not a big issue for you, as you say people message re lots of other staff. I chat with a few very much straight guys on here just like I would in real life with absolutely no underlying tones at all. I would hope I am not unique at that. |

Yeah it's a fairly common thing. Should see the amount of straight guys on grindr. But it's also apparently a fetish so *shrug* |

Now I've looked at your profile dude you really should use a filter if this upsets you so much! It's clearly what they are there for.

People spam all kinds of things on Fab, so you've got to use your filters if that totally cheeses you off.
You can always toggle your filter if you still want it for the forum etc, just like you can your profile being viewed (and your age restriction etc).
Fab isn't totally sex on a plate, it does need a bit of work too!
And if its a money thing (I can't remember) it's barely a few quid a month.

If you don't want to block these pesky straight men (for whatever reason...), you can just ignore the messages. You don't have to read them, you don't have to reply, you don't have to worry about them. |

I just checked out your profile.
To be fair it looks either homophobe or really forced highlighting you're straight as an arrow. You mentioned it like 3 times.
Some might just be trying to piss you off on purpose. |

I don't think you are unique in that regard, which I mean in the most positive way. It's all in approach with me, if someone talks to me as you are: respectful challenge, openly expressing your thoughts and feelings - I'll be up for talking.
I think were I am reflecting is, I perhaps leave it open, as I am not automatically offended by someone objectifying me. I'm not by women, so it would be a dual standard just because of my heterosexuality. But the same applies, they'll need to drop that and engage with me as a human first.
Now I am also wondering if that's an aspect of male privilege that I don't need to be concerned about it. Or just that I'm not all that pretty and I don't get so much attention for it to have a cumulative impact. Perhaps it's both. |

"So the question has got to be asked OP…..Are you going to block single men?"
Don’t be ridiculous, that would solve the problem

I will not comment on the prettiness aspect as have not looked on profile but you are right. It is all about how people behave and respect others |
