I am always weary about sleeping in hotel bed and will if possible only stay in pet free, excellent rated hotels.
With the news of bed bugs from France and papers full of this - is it just that papers have nothing else to write about or has the threat massively increased in your estimations?
Watching a so-called expert - solution to bugs was if found - got wash and hot tuble dry annd or in freezer. We always dry our clothing in a drier as that makes it sofer
Any thoughts? |

I heard the best solution is to get rid of furniture that’s how bad it’s been for some people in France.
In terms of the threat, I’d say it’s legit. I’ve seen so many tik toks of people on the tube seeing them. Whenever I get the tube/ bus now I come home, take my clothes off and put them straight in the wash. |

Is this the next ‘crisis’ that will occupy government. They love a good crisis.
My solution for me……staying away from public transport, staying away from hotels, staying away from people. |

Not to add to the panic, but they actually "live" in all sort of cracks and spaces, not just fabric. Tiny little space between the floor and the skirting board etc, they can live in there and come out to feed. This is one of the reasons it's so difficult to get rid of them.
The best and only true way to deal with them is specialist equipment and heat.
Indorex which is targeted for fleas and highly effective for them, but has had some success with bedbugs too is an option. |

Yes, I keep hearing silly advice on the radio where they said just wash your sheets more often etc, I mean whether you wash your sheets once a day or leave it much longer it doesn't matter as they inhabit other areas! |
