I still buy these in home bargains, made by lion.. maynards and blackcurrant flavour are the devils work |

I went to college opposite the Trebor factory.You could tell which days they were making Rhubarb & Custard or Blackjacks.It stank the whole town out if the wind was in the right direction.There was an endless stream of HGV bulk tankers from Tate&Lyle bringing in sugar. |

Like 'em,but not when they pull fillings out.Seem to remember chewing nuts were very good at that and Texan bar.

Mrs: Apple Jack chews, Postman Pats, Maverick bars.
Mr: Beer bottles, Welly boots, cola cubes, strawb bonbons, or the bargain bag of floor sweepings as the corner shop guy used to say. Looking back I get the feeling he wasn't kidding either. |

"I've found an old school sweet shop near me, stocked up on Kop Kops, Aniseed Balls, Cola Cubes and sherbet Lemons z"
There's a very good one in Warwick.Its surprising how many old school sweets are still going. |
