Generally go overnight oats. Oats, vanilla protein shake with almond milk, chia seeds and then top it off with strawberries and low calorie syrup
If on the stove then I just use whole milk and top it off with syrup and cinnamon |

"Microwave with milk
Mix in some cinnamon then tip with a bit of brown sugar and dollop some Greek yoghurt with a bit of honey on the side "
I tried to do it in the microwave once but think I left it in too long as it overfilled. Never again |

Instant microwave jobby. I like those flavoured ones like golden treacle or apple and blueberry or cinnamon. I will also eat plain but needs sugar. I wouldn’t eat it without. I like to add banana too. |

I blend my oats to a fine powder, mix with some protein powder and eggs, bung in some blueberries. They then get cooked into pancakes. Lashings of Skyr and a drizzle of honey.
Fuckin awesome |

I really want porridge with golden syrup and bananas now.
So I gotta go shopping for porridge, golden syrup, bananas, a bowl, a spoon, milk, a microwave, a new energy provider and a silk kimono to stand there eating it in.
Back in a mo. |

Milk and the microwave. We have gluten free oats - because they are proper large flakes and not the ground chaff that you usually get. Love porridge! Did you know… I had a health check a while back (45 year old MOT) and the clinician said that porridge is a super food for cholesterol. It cleans your arteries. Why isn’t this common knowledge? I asked. Because it’s cheap and drug companies can’t make money from it, she said. Whether it’s true or not, I don’t know. But porridge oats are good for you! |

For the wife, it's a case of giant rolled oats, cooked on the hob with part milk, part water.
Put at splash of milk into the waiting bowl, add cooked porridge - drizzle a little maple syrup over it. She never liked porridge until a couple of years ago, when I made it for her.
As for me, being half Scots, it's boiled with water, splash of milk in the bowl and topped with a dash of (lo) salt. |

"Milk, Scott's or Quaker oats, cook in the microwave, the add some golden syrup, stir in and add a bit of evaporated milk (not condensed) to make it creamy."
What's the difference between evaporated and condensed? |

Love porridge with milk and honey. Always had stove top made as a kid. Now I just microwave using milk but can tell the difference and prefer stove cooked.
Just can't be bothered to do it that way. |

I can't stand porridge cooked on the stove but I like it microwaved. Odd, I know. Hated porridge (stove cooked) as a child! |

I'm exactly the same, milk and honey and always had it as a child.
I love porridge but in the winter months only. |

Condensed milk is sweetened. |
