Has anyone undertook the Nia workout?

I have a week off work so making the most of the time and booking into classes I've never done before!

I loved it and if you've not heard of it, it is a series of dance moves combining tai chi, martial arts and yoga....I loved it! So graceful and I felt so motivated, energised after it

Loving trying new stuff! What about you guys? Do you like to try new stuff? If so what was the last thing you did that was new?

If not, why not? Sometimes it's good to push out of the comfort zone

North West

Is it a Welsh thing?! I'd not heard of it.

I want to try a bunch of wheelchair/seated sports but lack time and access to the right hardware.

No, not Welsh...we just stand in a circle and throw leeks at each other

Nia is a holistic fitness workout combining mind and body through a series of dance moves combining martial arts, tai chi and yoga

God I bet that must be frustrating you'd think that in 2023 we'd have more inclusive and accessible activities for less able x

Deepest darkest Peru

That sounds good I’ll look in to that.

My favourite class at the gym is rockbox I always come out smiling and with a sore throat after singing my head off too!

The RockBox concept is a combination of training using boxing and drumming to sculpt your body. Alternating cardio and toning, RockBox provides an all over body interval workout.

Me too. I’ve nearly snapped my drumsticks in that class as I get a bit carried away

I love that! This is me at Zumba! I have to stand in my own space away from others or I just end up clobbering someone, usually my friend Sophie gets it if she gets too close to me

That's amazing! I would love to play an instrument but I just don't have skills for it. Good luck with that and the Shibari x
