Take a week off and rest your voice.
I had exactly the same thing recently; it's sweeping the nation what ever it is. Daughter has it too. I was whispering on the phone to daughter then read later that whispering damages your vocal cords futher. I started talking again on Tues after a week. I sound like bloke tho. |

don't speak and carry a A4 white board, write down anything you need to say.
When they take thew piss out of you, use the white board to hit them with it they won't take the piss again. |
