There are so many films that are set "in the big house" from the incredibly well known ones

to the obscure and artsy.

Tell us about one that you've watched and enjoyed.

I'm going for "Ghosts of the civil dead" released in 1988 its the story of how the govenment and the owners of privately run maximum security prison in Australia slowly brutalise the inmates and guards to provoke a riot in order to build a new, more secure prison. Told partly from the perspective of a new inmate its very gritty.

Partly written and scored by Nick cave too

I hate this film with a passion. So depressing. It was originally shown as play on the bbc. My school deemed it reasonable to show us the play for some obscure reason. To frighten young people into toeing the line more than likely

"Ilsa the shewolf of the SS. Just a strange sexploitation style Gil.

That’s a weird weird movie

Watch the one where she is in a gulag lol

Not gonna lie I watched it for the minge and tits

Oh well now I’m sold!

I did an adult party cosplay once where I dressed as ilsa Had to change the armband though to a big cock on red "

that is brilliant and I’d expect nothing less

"Le-Haine

I don't recall any prison scene in La Haine?"

You are right as I named the wrong film, I meant Mesrine, true story as well.

"I caught a documentary last night on IOWA CORRECTUONAL for lifers and all women. Enjoyable. One been in there aged 20 now 17 and never coming out no parole. America is not a soft touch like the Uk "

It's it a time travel film?

Some really good films have already been mention like Escape from Alcatraz , Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile , Cool Hand Luke. One I haven’t noticed is Birdman of Alcatraz with Burt Lancaster and Telly Savalas with some hair.
