However i've only ever had "relations" with two people off the forums and they left the site soon after (purely by coincidence but it might explain who my brown boots got so dirty ;-p)

I know in the past people did sometimes get upset over who meets who but I'd like to think people are past that.

I'd also hate to think someone would want to keep meeting me quiet to protect their chances with someone else (seen that over the years too) but equally I'd feel sad if I became some sort of cock block.

I think though I'm a hypocrite in these things. I know some people would be hard acts to follow so to speak and it would possibly make me feel less confident if I was to.

The shit bit is the stuff or people do keep quiet obviously goes unnoticed as no one cotton's on. They simply have no idea that it exists. But the one scenario that goes wrong will have someone judged as if they do that all the time. And that's quite honestly fucking crap.

I have slept with a couple of people that post on the forum and I would like to sleep with a couple others. I don't show graphic verifications so it won't always be obvious if it was a social, group social, meet or otherwise unless you are particularly astute.

I don't really want to get caught up in forum gossip so I don't want some forum post announcement but equally I am not going to go out of my way to hide it unless the other person has reason to want to hide it (hopefully not because they cheated on someone with me or because they are embarrassed by me though!)

Agreed, but I do think it's a two way thing. If neither lampost piss it's really easy to go unnoticed. Ive had a scenario before where he and I wouldn't respond to the other on the forums but we'd message each other off grid and respond to comments we saw from the other on the forums. And that worked beautifully. We had quite a laugh with it.

And agree I have a much better time off the forums with men.

A woman on fab did tell me to never fuck a forumite in the early days.

Keep it to myself the same as the rest it’s no one business hence why I don’t have them on display

Found out a long time ago how petty fab can be on that respect

When a couple turned me down just because I had meet a guy they didn’t like 2 years prior to that

Supposedly he was nasty to them when they turned him down

He was ok with me but not like I really seen him was only ever one meet got stood up so instead off wasting prep time I took a meet now witch happened to be that guy he did always say he come back for more but never really did no big deal was what it was kind off thing

But it did put a blocker on a couple that I had hit it off with when they noticed the verification

Talk went well with them and then they noticed

And it wasn’t a cop out ither as a couple who were a regular new them from a swingers club

As they had also noticed verification from them and they sed they new them and I sed ooo I regular meet them ever now and then

As asked the couple the next time I seen them was told they were lovely

Long story short from that day forth verifieds hidden its a bit petty to turn someone down just because they meet such and such

I am single and free to see who I like so just for the sake off it keep them hidden that way no one can get petty because I meet someone

Forum actual-posters (as oppose to just users) will be less than 1% Fab surely, but it's a still diverse-enough 'group' for some people to stick to though I think - ie in their search for sex.

I suspect that quite a lot of people just use the forum here and it's PM facility, at least as far their own pro-active fabbing goes (though people will contact them outside of the forum too of course).

Verifications: depends, I don't always have verifications although I don't mind showing them. I get the "must have visible verifications" rationale on some profiles, so it helps in fulfilling that.

Engineering fallouts? Not proud and only did these couple of occasions (had to block one of them in the end) I’d pick arguments over random stuff, I’d like things I knew they loathed…I was very contrary. Wouldn’t do it again, I’d just block from the outset now, too much negative energy going back and forth and needlessly draining

When C and I were singles on the forum, we never lamp post pissed on each other or even mentioned we were seeing each other.

I had one veri showing and that was from Erect Jim - which could have gone against me getting a veri from a bloke!

We’ve only met one person on the forums for something more than a social but they aren’t active now at all.

Unless we both agreed to not say anything then we wouldn’t be bothered if people displayed or not.
