Does ones own appreciation of art - be it painting, music or literature - depend upon ones mood or intellect. Or both.
Judith Durham has an exeptional voice. But we have to be in the right frame of mind to listen to the seekers.
John Mortimer and Rumpole. Love it. But not every night.
So.
Are we alone.

Mood certainly, intellect most probably... experiences most definitely.
I have albums I've been listening to for years and always enjoyed but as I've aged and experienced different things in life, lots of songs, films and wotnot take on a whole new meaning and trigger whole new emotional responses |
