Not Xmas but your average Sunday, Is it still a thing for you ?
If it is how long does it take to prepare.
And just as importantly WHAT is on your perfect roast if you’re making it or going out for one

Used to make them for myself, alas can’t be dealing with the washing up so now a rare treat
However if I was to have one… carrots , peas, cauliflower cheese, roast parsnips and potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, meat, gravy and the best bit mint sauce regardless of the meat on the plate
I now want a roast |

"I try to make one every Sunday as my whole family love a homemade roast dinner. It has to include Yorkshire puddings, always, no excuses."
I’m impressed like the other person who regularly makes them, do you enjoy or is it habit ? How much time goes into it |

Today is the first time I’ve made one for 3-4 years.
My old oven was notorious for either incinerating food, or not cooking it at all.
Now I got a new one to try out, I thought I’d treat my little family to a roast beef lunch.
FUCK ME! How expensive is beef now? I set the alarms off in Tesco because it’s security tagged now. |

It took me seven months to prepare today's roast.
I started growing my potatoes in my allotment in March and my sprouts, carrots and parsnips in April.
I was digging and picking yesterday and it will go well with my "whoopsie" 50% off chicken. Nom, nom!
Shame it's dinner for one! |
