I frequently feel past it.
Joints ache, mind rattles I'm talking to my kids and they start telling me about Bronies and I am like wtf is with all these new words. How am I supposed to remember all this?
Half the time I forget the word for spoon and I am like: pass me that thing, you know like a fork but not. No not a knife FFS. The other thing. |

Lots of people do feel that way.
But the flip side is that a lot of people join and don't understand how to connect other people.
How many people join and assume they should get replies.
How many people join random "dating websites" and don't get attention or meets or interactions?
I'm blessed I had a wife when I joined because it was like having a golden ticket at a chocolate factory. Doors opened, attention rained down on us and everything was easier for us.
But I still had to work hard to get attention from the right people and it was only when we used the website to find events and got to know people in real life that the website and lifestyle became easy

Not really. I’m not that invested in the site.
I’ve been on here as part of a couple and as a single.
The forum is a place where, I guess, you could feel rejected or unappreciated as a single guy, but I find the rest of the site fine. |

Good god none of those things!!!
Whilst rejection is hard it’s not something I dwell on!!
I know what I bring to the table….just because others don’t because they ignore, delete or just aren’t aware of me doesn’t impact me in the slightest!!

I guess there's a fairly high churn rate of single men, perhaps almost half, who don't make it to a couple of months before giving up. It may be the majority of them gone after 6 months and a year. Some return and repeat it |
