How do I know which is which?
Jump to: Newest in thread
This is a genuine funny story, from something which happened today...
Whilst waiting for a young family member to use the toilet at a Petrol station services earlier, I overheard two members of staff chatting. A guy aged around 22 behind the counter. The other, was younger lad aged about 17, but no different than many other 17 year olds. He was sorting the shelves, before moving to the newspaper stand.
17 year old "It says Racing Post should be on the top", said in a confused tone...
22 year old "Yeah, there's a space on top for the Racing Post". Pointing to a big yellow 'Racing Post' sticker on the front of the stand.
17 year old "But how do I know which is which?" Holding a selection of newspapers.
22 year old "The Racing Post has Racing Post written at the top of it"
17 year old looks through the selection of newspapers in his hand and seems intrigued by the names of different newspapers.
I don't know whether this is funny or tragic.

The older one was obviously the daily mail in charge but not his guardian. He should have expressed his opinion and telegraphed it at different times. His dad would have thought he was his star son for doing that. |
