How can you connect an old vhs player with scart to a new smart TV? Will a scart to hdmi converter work?

If you have a HDMI input and you can get a converter, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I’d check on Google or You Tube and then maybe have a look on EBay (if a HDMI lead isn’t the way to go).

I looked but os confusing, one says all you need is a scart to hdmi conerter and elsewhere it says it will not work because of frequences or something. I will have another look, thanks.
