These just stop the oil types ruined a west end show last week which was called Les Miserables which presumably a story about miserable people in France.
Now they are attacking universities and spraying orange paint over the walls.
What exactly are these buggers protesting about .....?
What's going on here guys? It's all over the walls. |

"The cleaning agents used to clean up the paint probably oil based
And that has nothing to do with what they’re protesting about so…
So , what?"
So bit of a pointless comment. |

Actually has everything to do with it.
They spray paint and someone has to clean it.
Which environmentally is against what they are protesting for.
Which is moronically stupid because they are creating more problems than solving. |

They’re seeing radical, large, impactful change. Like stopping new licensing of oil and gas.
If you really believe what you’re typing Lmao idk what to even tell you |

Exactly, the protesters are looking to the future but the future of their vandalism doesn't enter their little heads |

Could be a water based paint.
Just stop oil have my support, if only to fight for their right to protest. |

It's been an horrific year, with new oilfields given permission by the failing UK government.
It's probably important to look at why certain universities have been targeted. And to reduce our extraction of oil ASAP |

Don't these just stop oil protesters realise that the goverment Do not listen to the little people so they are targeting the little people and upsetting them and disruption their lives and enjoyment to get a point across to the goverment who donlt listen anyway. I fear soeone soon will get very hurt if they carry on. They already stopped an ambulance getting a sick patient to hospital so really this HAS to stop.

The UK contributes approx 1% of the CO2 linked to global warming.
If they really want to make a difference, they should target the biggest polluters, like China, USA etc, but obviously they won't do that as the likelihood of getting away with these protests with only a slap on the wrist are far less likely. |

The case is that countries like ours offset their emissions to countries like china etc.
I am just as complicit as you all with my use of oil, but I have children and they will have children what will they do?
By then they will need to buy air in tanks to breath and at cost I expect.
Plus I do not see JSO targeting roads but more attractions, events and places rich people go to enjoy themselves, or to spend their oil money I do not know.
All I know is they have a right to do it, which the government seek to close down. |

Jso are intentional. They’re part of an international movement to hold governments accountable |

I think that if the protestors _genuinely_ thought that this was the reason for the end of the world then their time would be far better spent actively working to come up with new technologies and approaches to _truly_ solve the issues rather than just protesting.
Anyone can protest. Very few people actively work to change the world. Mainly because it is hard. And time consuming. And they don’t actually know what they would do to have an impact. Far easier to get some likes on social media and sit back in a glow of self righteous glory but actually change nothing on the ground. |

Governments?
Which political party, government department, or large corporation are they inconveniencing when they block roads, slow traffic, and delay ambulances and other emergency service vehicles? |
