With myself managing to avoid A&E for at least 25 years and a severe lack of medical procedural knowledge, is she actually in A&E? With no indication of the reason for being there, my assumption would be that she is in being monitored which is possibly something that happens regularly...may not be life threatening, could be a "I only have 10 minutes left to live" situation, could be monitoring heart activity for a defect since birth, I haven't a clue! I'd imagine she knows how long she'll be left in a closed cubicle alone for though...
