Suella Braverman, the English Home Secretary, whose responsibilities include law and order has written to the Chief of Police saying that it could be an offence to wave a Palestinian flag on the streets of London. Reports about this letter do not mention an Israeli flag. Now Tom is not the biggest fan of the French but he does not want the French flag banned either. Flags are not racist. People are. It's like the woke being ashamed of the George Cross. What's going on here guys. It's all over the news |

The world is in a right mess at the moment. I tend to not watch the news any more as it's invariably depressing. It's either politics and our corrupt leaders, war or some kid being stabbed to death on s street somewhere.
With the events you've just mentioned you'd almost thing promoting segregation/exclusion is the "in" thing. |

I live in a ultra orthodox Jewish neighbourhood. Those Palestinian flags are slowly popping up in windows. No doubt we will get a heightened visible police presence too. It tends to happen every time things tense up in Gazza. |
