"Who got the team together and instilled the work ethics that have seen your team's recent success " i agree, but if hes guna throw a hissy fit whenever things dont go his way ? for team spirit etc etc were better off without him, stfc will be around long after pdc has gone, whoever takes over ? will enherit a good bunch of players ok |

Someone mentioned his lack of caps for
Italy,it's true, but this was probably more to do with his non conformity, rather than a reflection on how good a player he was.

Thought I'd woken to an April Fool's joke on hearing Sunderland have appointed di Canio on a two and a half year contract as head coach.
I had to check this on the BBC site for confirmation and it us true.
Watch out for the fireworks and good luck Mackems wonder how long he will last. |

"Just been announced he's appointed Nick Griffin as his number 2 at the dirty makems
David Miliband has resigned as vice chairman and chief executive of Sunderland FC."
*non-executive director*........he's off to New York anyway.
Sunderland or New York? No contest!!!! |

So a jewish fabian marxist & a cog in the british communist state runs away at the appearance of a national socialist! The eternal struggle rages on |

Sunderland are still going down. Stupid sacking and stupid appointment. No disrespect to Di Canio but with under a quarter of league games to go, it's really down to the players to pull their socks up and graft out results and Di Canio doesn't have the relevent experience at this level.
I wonder why chairmen even bother hiring managers. |
