I wish it was done yearsss ago, the advert advises people to find the little things in life that makes them feel better everyday like going for a walk.

Soooo wish there was adverts like that from decades ago the rate of those who take their own life maybe would have never been so high

What's your little things that you do to help make you feel positive about life ?

I slow down and be aware of my senses and surroundings. Everyone is in a rush nowadays.

Exactly when there's no rush but everything is like race against time.

Don't wanna be late to catch the bank, can't be late for the dentist it's very annoying

Totally agree , it’s easy to be caught up in it until it all becomes to much .

North West…

I think the 5 Ways to Wellbeing that NHS have occasionally promoted is a good way to understand people’s mental health, and if you do those things well or better you’ll generally feel alright (appreciate that won’t be the case for everyone).

I haven't seen the advert but it sounds like one of the relatively useful things taken from CBT ie cognitive behavioural therapy (not cock and ball torture- though there are times where the two feel like one). It's psychiatry done on the cheap of course, but the principal of doing nice things for yourself really works for some people (it did for me when I was over-worked). For already entitled people it's a nightmare suggestion though! On a macro level, the big problem in this world is so many Westerners do nothing but self-indulge!

It's not easy. I already do the "colour of the car?" thing, and go for plenty of walks etc. Helping others can help I find. I recently bought a load of new jigsaws for a community centre that really needed them. Within days half of them were outright st*len and they are almost all gone now (from about 8 to 1 in a bit over a week). It's always bitter sweet.

Right now? Nothing.

I’m struggling to feel positive about anything just lately.
