The NFL is in Tottenham today. Buffalo bills vs Jacksonville jaguars. The streets are teaming with American football fans from across the globe. So many different accents from the North of England to Latin America. All the pubs and restaurants are packed and there is a really nice vibe along the route from the stadium.
What events take place near you and how do they impact your local community. Are they a joy to host or a royal pain in the arse? |

We have the Elvis festival in Porthcawl which is near me. Elvis’s from all over the place descend to a seaside town and take it over.
It’s quite surreal!!
I avoid it these days as the parking is a nightmare! |

"We have a lot of events at Rochester Cathedral to light shows and music. Even as a non believer it's a stunning building"
Same here, not religious but do like a poke around an old church. |

"We have the beer cart near me where hundreds of Morris dancers come from all around the UK. Dance and drink beer. So very nice female ones as well "
I love a bit of Morris dancing. I even had a couple of vintage hats a few years back. Dancing and beer drinking is what life's all about. Thanks for the share |
