Profile pictures

I was wondering - when you post pictures on your profile what are you posting them for and what reaction are you hoping for? Are they just a way of making meets more likely or is the posting of them a 'thing' in itself that you enjoy? Do you like to see how many Fabs they get, or imagine how people might react to them? |

It's usually me posting them but sometimes B too. I post for a mixture of reasons. Sometimes it's because of a forum thread. Most times it's because I like the picture. The number of fabs doesn't matter but I find it interesting which ones are more popular.

I post them because I like them.
Because they're little reminders of things or because it's a task or because I know that it'll make a particular person very happy and more likely to wear a Scream mask if I do.
I like it when people I like notice them or give me compliments. I don't mind being fabbed but it's not why I post them. |

Sometimes I post because I feel pretty and like being told so.
Sometimes I post because I feel rubbish and want the ego boost.
Sometimes I post to wind someone specific up.
Sometimes it's for forum challenges.
Sometimes I just think I should update if I haven't done a new one for a while. |

I post them because I like them and in the hope that they’ll attract the type of people I’d like to meet.
Having your pictures appreciated and fabed it’s nice but I don’t upload them for that purpose. |

It became a hobby of ours during lockdown and we’ve carried it on, albeit not a regular.
They are a reminder of places we’ve visited, times with others and also a reminder, when older and past it that we looked good…
FAB’s are nice but not integral to why we post them. They get our profile noticed and start conversations…

I post mostly for myself.. was never into photography but now I like to try out different poses, different settings, lighting.. finding out what works, what doesn't.. besides, why not push the boundaries right? |

We just enjoy taking photos; Kit likes to dress up and feel sexy and if we take one we like, why not share it? I suppose that means we’re a little bit exhibitionist and hopefully people enjoy them, but we’re not chasing fabs. |

I like seeing the idea I have paying off and looking good. The compliments definitely help and can be motivating to take more and seeing the positive reactions help with increasing body confidence I never used to have  |

I like posting pictures because it boosts my confidence. And no, it's not because people fab them. We actually turn fabs off sometimes. But it's because I like for people to appreciate something I've put time and effort into.
On here I want our pictures to come across as sexy, sultry, affectionate and loving.

It satisfies my exhibitionist streak.
I enjoy taking the photos but like to have somewhere to put them.
I enjoy seeing which type of photo is more liked. (Arse, always arse).
I enjoy looking at the photos and reading the profiles of the people that fab my photos sometimes.
I have only really ever cared about the actual number of fabs on my lego steamboat Willie photo and my body confidence photo . But when that made it to hot pics the memory of my ex telling me that he didn't find me attractive faded even more. |

I used to post them cause I liked to.
Though I've found it brings alot more junk mail so am more private now.
I also removed the fab button I don't need validation of what anyone else likes.
I'll take a photo now and again so it's current and up to date and I'm not catfishing anyone I'm meeting, but that's about it. |

To make my profile look less empty and to show what I look like I guess. A non-negative reaction is what I'm hoping for, a positive one is better though! I think there's definitely a correlation between posting new pics and connections (people looking at local updates) so I wish I was better at it, but it's not a thing I enjoy in itself. |

It's really just to present ourselves, hopefully in an appealing way. So yes in the grand scheme of things it's about meeting people but I think it also helps with just chatting with people we probably won't ever meet, of which there have been several. |

Some of my pictures are people that I have meet and they have said that they would like me to post the picture or two.
Most of the rest are just photos showing what I look like, wobbly bits and all.
Getting Fabs is not important to me. |
