Both genders do equally I find. The way it's presented is generally different though.
And anyone who says they have never partaken in the said gossiping is fibbing. They may not spread it but they enable the gossipers by listening. |

Yes! They do, they are proper old women when they gossip! I used to work in a very predominantly male environment and they loved a gossip. It use to make me chuckle. |

Seriously though I shamelessly love gossiping, especially with my fiancé or my other partners or my mum  . But I can’t stand people that hear gossip or do gossip and don’t know when to shut up. |

I find the ladies will extract, more Information than men during a gossip session. Guys I find are normally just the facts , ladies facts and the aftershave etc.

Mens gossip is a bit like sky news.. its all talk for a couple hours and forgotten the next day.
Women's gossip is where the private investigators come out.. no stone unturned until they either know everything or have to find out more to add to the gossip  |

Depends… what do you class as gossip?
My mates and I definitely chat and discuss things, including other people. But it’s never malicious and always light hearted. Probably the worst thing we’ve ever said is about how someone is under the thumb. It doesn’t really go deeper than that.
There’s definitely no sharing of peoples personal information and 100% definitely no shit stirring or plotting against someone etc.
To throw another question out there - what do women talk about when they gossip? |

When I have tried to commune with my fellow man there has been little gossip. It’s invariably:
Sport…. 
Beer…….
Unattainable women….
No wonder I’m a social hermit.. |
