Just wondering if any of you amazing people out there use Fitbit??
They have just updated their app, and the new version is absolutely terrible compared to the previous one. There seems to be quite a substantial social media backlash that Fitbit don’t seem to be responding to.
Just asking what other’s experience is here. I’m contemplating moving away and going to Garmin… interested in experiences here also??

Hi!
I've had a Garmin watch for a year or so, and I really like it.
The app is simple, and the watch performs quite well. There are some things I don't like much, such as the confusion of the software when I do many different exercises at the gym (I wish there were a generic programme for "gym stuff" or so), but in general it's good.
The GPS and maps when walking and hiking is really nice, and the app tracks stuff well.
It's not overly fancy, and doesn't require any linking to other accounts.
So, I'm happy with Garmin |

A social media backlash over it?
I'm shocked. Yes it looks different but I've just got used to it already it's actually a little nicer that you can customise the display a little. Though I'm hoping they add more options on that.
I haven't had any trouble with the features or using/finding them.
So why such a backlash? What is the main complaint? |

I've given up with Fitbit, the watches just keep failing. I've had 4 under the original warranty in 2 years. They were great at replacing them but the latest lasted 6 weeks and was just a few days outside the original 2 year warranty so they won't replace it. I'd only bought an additional year of Premium at £80 & they wouldn't refund that. Luckily PlayStore refunded me but I'm done with Fitbit now. The step counter on Fitbits is wildly inaccurate too.
Now using a Samsung 6 which has great features and exercise options but only has a VERY limited battery life of around 30 hrs. 3 year warranty is good though. |

Just asking …. I’m looking at moving to an Apple Watch. TBH, the thing that realllly puts me off is the reports of how rubbish the battery life is?? … in hearing less than 24hrs??
Why’s your experience of Apple Watches???
