What do you use? Do you free bleed? Do you have sex during? What do your partners do to support you! Etc etc!
Because I seem to have catfished some of you before xx |

Always had really light, short periods but since my last baby it's done a 360.
I now need use tampons and pads at the same time for the first few days
What is free bleeding?
Hard no to sex. Between what I've said above, the bloating and cramps I could never.
My husband ducks for cover mostly but he will give me tea and cuddles

I use the max absorbancy period underwear plus the biggest menstrual cup that I can comfortably wear with my pessary. I have to change my pessary at the first sign of bleeding to one without support, to let the giant clots out. I am supposed to be unable to have periods but I've bled through the ProStap three times now, since July. It started a bit again this morning.
I'm so ready for the day they chop it all out and chuck it in the bin. |

To be fair I have just sat on the toilet because it's nice to not have anything up there or be waddling around with the ultra absorbent pads in my underwear |

I didn't have to convince anyone as I had huge fibroids.
A hysterectomy was my only option, or slowly bleed to death |

We're non-menstruators.
Technically, I still did for a few years because I had endometriosis and only a partial hysterectomy, but it was barely a smudge.

I'm irregular and heavy, I'm talking wearing tampon and a pad and changing them every 40 minutes to an hour, it exhausts me.
Last year I was put on iron tablets because my iron level was super low, before that I would look pale, be breathless and just feeling exhausted to the point where I could not function properly, that along with cramps are like an early labour pain.
Periods have always been heavy and it doesn't help that I take apixaban.
As for sex forget it, I can remember my period starting during sex once and it was like a murder scene. My fwb was lovely, I showered, he changed the sheets made me a hot chocolate and just cuddled me, 10 years on he's still a FWB lol |

I was referred because my GP couldn't fit a Mirena coil as the fibroids had changed the shape of my uterus.
I had scans where they found the fibroids and as nothing else was a viable option I had the hysterectomy.
Afterwards, the surgeon came to see me in the ward and said I had one large fibroid and a massive one that had doubled the size of my uterus.

My fwb was lovely, I showered, he changed the sheets made me a hot chocolate and just cuddled me, 10 years on he's still a FWB lol
That's how I was. Have they spoken to you about a scan or the Mirena coil?
I was scanned for polyps they found nothing and tbf they did and I said no because the thought of a coil gives me anxiety. I'm sterilised. But yeah I think i need that chat x
My iron was at heart attack level and I was barely functioning at the time.
It's dangerous to keep losing so much blood.

Thank goodness you are OK now! You are right. It is dangerous x |

I'm not going to go into details but not great.. The good thing is with the weight loss I've discovered a change and I'm a lot more aware of the different phases, can tell when I'm ovulating etc so try and plan things accordingly. |
