What's the worst thing you've done when furious?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I'll start the ball rolling: when I was about 20, a "friend" thought it would be hilarious to really wind me up when I was already annoyed.
That I was taking an emergency dump in a bush at the time (all toilets were closed) meant it wasn't the best timing on his part. He continued to goad me, and I literally "lost my shit" when I went into an almost primal rage, throwing the steaming turd at him in true chimpanzee fashion.
He stopped laughing after that.... |

Cancelled my exs passport.
It was coming to the end of the relationship, he'd started to grate on me quite badly. We had a family holiday coming up, going to Turkey for 2 weeks. He made a xenophobia/racist comment about the locals.
I cancelled his passport. He didn't know till check in. I told him he could use the 2 weeks to consider packing.
Absolutely wonderful holiday! |

"Put a thief in hospital."
Funnily enough, our house was burgled when I was a kid, right before Christmas. The bastard made off with a load of stuff, and got away clean.
Word got around, and we found out who it was - a local junkie, and a relative chased him into an alley. When cornered, he thought it a good idea to climb the wall to escape...but the top of it was cover with razor-wire.
My heart bled as much as he did when he ended up in hospital from the resulting wounds. |

Should have given him a good pasting and blamed it on the fall |

Apparently the look on his face was priceless, and he was in hospital for over a month. Justice never leaves your hands cleaner when they are hoist by their own petard. |

Um... you might want to consider keeping this rather quiet. And also deleting this comment.
Cancelling a passport, even a partner or family member's without their knowledge or consent is a criminal offence under Section 76 Serious Crime Act 2015.
It can, and I quote: "It can be tried summarily or on indictment and has a maximum penalty of five years’ imprisonment" |

This was probably 15 years ago and he's well aware. We've joked about it since and sadly we have to remain in contact so I'm not worried about it in the slightest but thank you for your concern |

Oh that's ok then! No harm done. Phew!
But maybe my advice might resonate with others thinking of doing the same. A friend's ex-wife got a suspended sentence for doing the very same thing to him (amongst other things) so it caused me to reply. |

Tbf I don't think he's able to have a passport anymore as his was removed from him sometime over the past decade. Dunno if that's a permanent thing though but I assume it will be due to prison time that I won't go into detail over.
We've joked, he should have just stayed away from the passport office all together and maybe none of that would have happened.
It's certainly not something I'd ever suggest anyone do, I was early 20's and a complete idiot |

Ah! That's a separate matter. Anyone who is convicted and given a sentence of 5 years or more are automatically banned from having a passport unless special reasons why they need one.
Like you say we all do things in the heat of the moment, esp when young! |

Happy to admit I learnt! He learnt not to make comments about other people like that, I learnt to grow up. And we both just laugh about it, nearly every time any form of holiday, whether in this country or us going abroad is brought up |
