"It was quite tough to watch especially the guy who had lost almost half his face due to a life saving operation."
I just couldn't understand how they could do the original op and leave the poor guy how he was. With the tiniest dressing on there. Was so strange. |

I did not understand that either - they did say that he had had several corrective procedures and ops but none helped - maybe that is how he ended up as he did? |

Yes you're probably right because the tissue did look really smooth and healthy round the edges not like it was a very recent op so perhaps they had tried different things and gave up. Such a brave man. |

"My heart went out to the guy with the face missing........ but do they really have to show diarrohea dripping in slow motion, or a womans whole hairy mary with boils .....
OMG" Yes, lol... that was a bit errr dramatic! Also I did not think her treatment had been that effective as she did not look that much different? I was wondering if there were some learning difficulties with this lady as well? |

Yeah. That's why a large section of the audience tunes in.
Think Jeremy Kyle without the confrontation.
Think This Morning without the grey haired guy fucking up.
Think Judge Judy without the trailer trash.
Who the **** would watch that?

It's what I said on the other thread. People rejoice in the 'thank **** it isn't me'." Actually that is not true, for me at least it is not. I do watch it sometimes and I wonder (like with many programs about people's misfortune and unhappiness) how they got there. I am thinking they were all born as cute babies and a blank canvas... so where did things start to go wrong for them? That is my perspective really, nothing to do with me as such. |

Nature AND nurture in my thinking - I dont follow the cartesian thinking although my mantra does include "I think therefore I am". Does that make sense?
