In general that was the longest gap until mid 30's. Obviously sometimes a day, a week. Before I wanted to build a relationship, have a family...etc. Now I'm not in a rush anymore. Well, kind of a rush with sex, because it's affecting me physically and a bit mentally too. |

About 13 years ago we had a 9 month dry spell durring a tough spell in our marriage. Both of us were to stressed and emotionally drained. We still slept together in our bed, but no sex, just cuddles.
I find in long term relationships there are often spells where sex is not priority. Life brings struggles. Stress, over worked, children and just general shit that brings you down. Desire for sex can often be the 1st thing to go. They pass after time and sex life recovers.
Same apples to singles too. If you have so much on your plate, of your feeling low. For whatever reason. Your desire for sex will drop off for a while. Focus on yourself. Heal what's bringing you down and your desires will return. N |
