Vandals in Essex have kicked a lactating hedgehog to death and RSPCA experts say the young ones will die. What should be done with these buggers if caught. What is going on here. It's all over the news |

If they're caught they certainly need some form of deterrent.
Maybe 100 hours community service working at a rescue centre, helping care for abused animals. Sometimes seeing first hand the effects of this sort of thing makes people realise what they've done was wrong. |

Ooooh I like this idea! I was going to comment "what a bunch of pricks!" But would rather support this comment |

Treat yourself, do both
I certainly agree with your first reaction. |

I rescued a hedgehog on a social meet ages ago.
In answer to your question, kick them to death. I have a very low threshold when it comes to things like this.

"Oh it's no secret how I feel about those that harm animals in such ways.
I'm all for any and all kinds of vigilantism toward them. Most creative and extreme wins. "
Yup people that deliberately harm defenceless animals deserve to have the same done to them, hedgehog spikes pushed under their finger nails would be a lovely start I think. |
